Magazine Spread Reboot

My article, Is Black Plastic Lurking in Your Kitchen?, addresses a serious issue with a touch of humor. I aimed to balance informativeness with accessibility. To establish hierarchy, I placed the title at the top of the first page, with the subtitle above it to introduce the topic and guide the reader’s eye to the drop cap. For visual balance, I included consistent utensil illustrations on each page and used yellow accents to unify the spread. The layout contrasts the negative effects on the left with the positive changes on the right, using dark and light colors and varying utensil illustrations.
